I am having a very difficult time programming the Neo to recognize my Yamaha RX-V995 receiver. I have tried the default brand/code and it does not work. I have also tried learning and does not work except for one or two buttons. I tried "downloading" codes but was not able to copy them into the buttons. Any ideas?

I have an HTR-5280 and it caused me the same problem. I basically just kept learning each button until they were all programmed in. All of the buttons are able to get learned, try setting the Neo into learn mode, then press the corresponding Yamaha button for about 1/2 second, then repeat on the Yamaha. I had the best luck this way.

To clarify a little: get the Neo to learn mode, select the Neo button you want, then press the Yamaha button, let go, press the Yamaha button again. You will get a lot of the buttons that need to be repeated, but it does work.
