I have downloaded latest ver 1.3 of Prontoedite to my pc running under Windows 98. I uploaded settings from my Pronto to my pc but when I open up device settings they do not match what I have programed into unit. I have a Mitsubishi TV with code set 0177 programed but when I look under device setting in prontoedit for TV it is showing Phillips with code of 0046. If this is an uploaded file why don't setting I programed into unit listed? The pull down menu does not list code I want to enter or allow me to manually enter it. What am I missing here and how do I correct information.

What does "Learned Code" mean?

Commands that I want to add but do not appear when provided code is used, are they installed to Pronto NEO by LEARN for each key or is there some other code source?

Not off to very good start.

learned IR codes are codes that you 'memorized' by teaching your NEO a command from the OEM provided remote. they seem to live and stay correct during uploads and downloads, whereas several board postings have indicated that the problem you are having with neo edit overwriting selected manufacturers is know. sounds like you selected the manufacturer manually on the NEO. i'd suggest starting over and selecting the manufacturer within NEO edit.

That is one of the problems, my Mitsubushi TV code is not one listed in Prontoedit. In the maual 4 codes are listed 0177, 0205, 0046,and 0120. The first one 0177 is the only one that works most but not all of the commands for the TV. In Prontoedit only 0046 and 0120 are listed and they don't even work the remote.

I have all 4 odf them codes showing up on my NeoEdit software, Ver 1.3

Did you try and sroll down? As the last to codes, 177 & 205 don't show up unless you move down using the arrows..

Other then that, reinstall the software..
