I have seen where the learn process adds a second set of codes that mess with the program. What is the best way to clean the code after a learn?
Thanks
David

Could you explain that one a bit more? What is causing you issues?

Sure , I am programming my 501 using ncf files from the file forum. Then changing the hex with learning commands. Some times with the channel numbers I get extra numbers and so when I push the cnn icon I get 2022 instead of 202. I have tried longer waits and adding an enter command. But it is hit or miss. I have read that some times the code needs to be checked for extra redundant srtings?
Am I making sense?
Thnaks for any help?
Also wondering how to get on/off trigger to the same button, only been able to learn the on to one button and the off to a second?

When learning, be sure to hold down the original button until the remote finishes learning. Don't just press the button briefly.

If your device has discrete power control on the original remote, that's what you have to use (unless you can find another code elsewhere).
