I'm trying to add a new device (Kenwood DV-5900m dvd player) and it's not automatically adding the pages for the device. Somehow, I've done this in the past with other devices, for example, when I added the Pioneer TV, it automatically added 5 pages for it with all the appropriate buttons/codes.

I haven't used the editor for a while, and I guess I'm missing a step.

Anybody know what I should do? The editor is the latest from the Philips web site (2.0.5).

thanks

I think you have to know the model codes to get the pages automatically for your device. I wouldn't know though, seeing as I spent 10 or so hours spread over a couple of weeks tinkering and making custom buttons. IMHO neoedit is a pain to use.

as far as i know you need to grab someones ncf from the files section of this site and copy/paste the pages or devices from their ncf to yours using neoedit
as far as i know its the only way to get all the pages you need

i use Gabe Breeman's One-Click NCF style for all my dvd players it works great

edit

just found this
