Does anyone know whether neo Edit works with Win XP? When I try to connect, neo Edit can't find any com ports. But, the com ports are available using other programs. Any ideas??? Jim

I use mine on XPand it works fine (or as fine as the Neo can). I never really had any problems with ports so I can't tell you a fix.

When I brought mine home, I just reached around the back (w/o looking) and kept trying till the cable end matched one of the plugs on the back! ;)

Maybe I just got lucky!

Anyone else?

Just got home from picking my NEO up. I had to drive 260 miles round trip! Anyway, after installin the latest version of NEOedit I ran into the same problems as yourself. I went program by program ending processes and found my problem. Microsoft Active Sync was preventing NEOedit from seeing the comm port. Go into task manager and end the wcescomm process and see if that doesn't fix it.
