I have a RC3200 and am trying to learn the HD/SD input switch button for the Toshiba DST3000 HD receiver. Toshiba uses a two button "action + HD/SD" configuration to change the input. After you press the action button the remote sends a different code upon pressing the HD/SD button. I have been unable to learn this command with the RC3200 because it is a short IR burst and does not seem to be long enough for it to be learned.
I have tried learning the button to another remote (RC2000 MKII, which works) and then try from there to the RC3200 without success. I have also tried using a IR repeater with no luck. Without learning this button it is impossible to set up the macros to set the system status for different inputs.
Has anyone had any luck learning this button and have a ncf file they could email?
Also, has anyone found a way to input hex address for the IR codes through the RC3200 software? If so this may be a solution to the problem since the hex codes are listed for use with the RC5200.
Any other suggestions to learn this button would be appreciated?
Thank You
