I cannot get my RC3200 remote to learn the stop button on my Panasonic DVD player remote. I was told by the audio salesperson who sold me my receiver that once the editing software came out all my problems would be solved.

Well, the software is really cool and I updated the firmware (the addition of screen calibration is awesome and makes the pointer much more accurate) and I renamed/rearranged some buttons, but there was no library of codes with the software. I figured I could find some on this site- when I looked I found ncf files for a couple of Panasonic DVD players, but I can't open them with the RC3200 edit software (I gather they were created from the Pronto Neo software).

Any ideas where I might be able to find the "learned IR code" for the stop button?

Thanks for any help!!!

If you rename the Neo ncf files you Downloaded to .ZIP and then change the Zip comment to 001
then you can use the RC3200 software.

So if you prefer to use the NeoEdit ssoftware that has the database of IR codes, you could and after saving the file just change the comment and it'll open right up with the RC3200 software!

Kind of stupid how they are making the end user have to do this themselves, as Philips could of just had the software save the .ncf file in either Neo or RC3200 format!

Please forgive me for asking a dumb question. How do you change the zip comment?
Thank you.Chris
