I just bought a Pronto Neo last week, and now that I have used the software to program it, I still had to make a few adjustments ie. Make a button for the eject on the DVD, and reprogram (learn) several buttons that would just not respond, even with the correct rf code. So, my question is, after all this is programed into the remote, is there any way to upload this to save in the configuration file on my computer?

Yeah just get the latest firmware upgrade and software here:
[Link: pronto.philips.com]

NEOedit will let you upload your configuration and save it.

Just remember to UPLOAD you ncf file before you do any Firmware upgrades. The Firmware upgrade will wipe out you Neo's settings and put them back to the Default

I have already uploaded the firmware update, but still don't seem to be able to find a way to upload FROM the remote, TO the computer, can someone walk me through this?

Jay

PS Thanks everyone for all your help, most of my questions I answered myself just by playing around with the software or using the Help screens, but even the help screens say nothing about an upload TO the remote!!!

TO upload the ncf file you have to install the newest version of NeoEdit, ver 1.3, I'd first uninstall the other copy.

With the new version, you'll see the Icon on the tool bar next to the Download icon..

thats all, click to upload and use "Save As" to save..all done
