Is there a way to write a macro to "press and hold" a button?

I'd like to to have a macro that raises volume by +20. Right now I have to program the IR command 20 times for this to work, however it is very slow (press, stop, press, stop).

Any suggestions?

That's about it. There's a way to more seamlessly simulate holding a button, but until you can really work with IR codes its a moot point.

Thanks for the info. What will need to be done to allow to work with the IR codes? Enabling uploading of data to the PC won't help will it? Seems it would have to be a change in the software (or a crack to allow editing of IR?).

You need to be able to look at and manipulate the IR codes. Obviously one of the needs is for uploading (and according to Philips you will get it with the next SW update)

You could also try a bad learn. Press the button, but stop just before it has enough of the sequence to learn the command successfully
