My RC3200 was wiped out when I tried to download a program. I first uploaded the current file, made a few changes and tried to download the new ncf. That's when I received a message, "Invalid CF version or corrupt flash." Any ideals on what to do? I can't seem to download the default factory settings.

HEY! Same thing happened to me after I used the "firmware updater" program for the ProtoNeo downloaded from the Phillips site. Same message. Now the remote is dead and it won't reset. Anybody know anything from Phillips about this? I'm ready to return the d--- thing. The NEOedit software isn't exactly user friendly either!

David:

See the messages on this forum "Neo update killed my remote" or search the forum for "firmware." There is some good advice on that thread.

I had to retry the install three times and reset the device after each try. Then the firmware update transfered and the device rebooted spontaneously. The first time I ran the firmware update, it seemed to work the same way, but apparently didn't complete. Even though the software state update had completed successfully. Hope this helps with your device.

I was able to get the remote up and running by starting a default download and reseting the remote within the first few seconds of the download. The remote finally responded to the software and took the ncf file.

Good luck to you guys,

David Thomas
