I am running Win XP and when the upload finishes, Windows encounters a problem and must close. The software crashes and must be restarted. I turned off Virusscan and other items previously mentioned in other posts. Anyone have any solutions?

I've never used Windows XP, so I don't know how similar it is to '98. If I encountered this problem in Windows 98 I would start by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and closing down most of the programs running in the background manually. That way you can rule out interference from these programs.
