I had just downloaded the new firmware file last night & at first my first ProntoNeo said touch the corners with 4 arrows, I tried to, but it seemed stuck/froze. Meanwhile I was downloading the same program to my second ProntoNeo, it never made it that far it was frozen instantly! Now both seem to be dead! I have tried the 'RESET' button on the back, nothing happens! I tried to remove the batteries, nothing happens! I also tried to download the original CD rom version set at default, and the reply I receive is "NO PORTS FOUND", or some other error message! Please advise of any info regarding this problem! Or if you happen to have Philips toll free phone number to tech support or anything! I also have, um, HAD a problem with the devise select screen where all devise buttons where black, no letters, every time I made any ajustments on the remote! PLEASE, help us!!! Thanks! Newly bald couple!

I had the same problem with my first Neo. It was DEAD! Customer service rep told me just to take it back and try another one. Fortunately, the second one worked.
