I'm using the Dishnetwork 6000 receiver with the Neo. The remote learns the buttons quickly, but, the 0-9 numbers don't emit well from the corresponding soft buttons. (You have to hold them down for them to register smoothly.) So, When I assign macros to go directly to a satellite station the numbers sometime come up correctly and sometimes not - about 50/50. Also, the Neo HATES my Panasonic CT-34WX50 remote! It won't learn a single button from it! It does accept one of the Panny codes from the manual, but, the enter key does not function on the screen that it's on (gotta have that sucker!) Thanks.

HAve you done the Firmware upgrade yet? I felt that the Neo had a better IR range after I did the upgrade.

Also try holding the button longer maybe, or else set a delay between the channel numbers.

The only remote I had any problems with was my panasonic VCR remote. Couldn't learn three buttons. Fortunatly those buttons were in the NEO's database. Have you tried the NEO's preprogrammed codes for panasonic? Also, while some remote are more troublesome than others, I actually found the pressing the button I wanted to learn to, and then a quick 1 sec. press of the OEM button, worked great. It will say learned AFTER the OEM remote button is released.

Thanks for the help. I returned the remote. It may have been defective. It was open box.
