Hello guys,
I'm new to RC.com so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area. I'm just looking for some quick direction.
I had a Logitech harmony remote about a year ago which originally worked well. However, I later added a HDMI matrix switch in order to use the same sources in both my living room and bedroom. Trying to control this all with the harmony proved to be too complex for it though and I switched to RTI.
I currently have a XP6 processor and T2i remote. Overall, I'm happy with it and it's reliable. However, I'm tired of paying a programmer to come over every time I need something small changed or fixed. I was told that some URC hardware is programmable by the customer and I can get access to the software as well. Which leads me to my questions...
Which URC controllers and remotes can be programmed by the customer? And what's the best way to get the software in order to program everything?
Thanks for your help.

The short answer is almost all of them. I suggest you scan their website and call them. It all depends on what you want to do.

MX-450 is the only non-computer programmable product currently available from URC.
