MX-350 programming for Xfinity X-1 Box

We recently upgraded Comcast to Xfinity X-1. I have not been able to get the URC MX-350 to program or "learn" any of the commands of the X-1 remote.

Does anyone have experience? Are the MX-350 too old to work with this new technology?

I'm about to get two Xfinity X-1 STB's and have 9 MX-350's. Did you get yours working?

There isn't a preset code in the mx-350, and you can't teach because of the x-1 protocol. You might be able to have the mx-350 upgraded via pcl-300. And if you have xp computer.

Thanks for the reply. Just so I understand. The MX-350 can support the X-1 IR protocol, but it needs a relatively new version of firmware to do so?

Right, there is no problem in the mx-350 supporting that protocol, once it gets loaded. Out of the box, it isn't supported.

Thanks for your help. Pre-pro code 113 (Pace STB) works for me. (Sort of - it does seem to repeat keys about 1/2 the time).

Quick edit..According to URC tech support the MX-350 doesn't support the Xfinity X-1 Pace STB's. MX-450 does though.
