Pretty sure these are right. I found many more for these 3 functions, but these are the first that I came across for each one. Someone want to verify that they work on their Hopper also?

Thank you for the HOPPER Hex codes! I was able to successfully use them to finish programming a BitWise BC4 controller for my iPad and they functioned perfectly on my HOPPER. I've been looking for the Search and Live TV codes everywhere! Thanks again!

Glad you were able to get that BitWise working based on info from the URC forum... :>/

Copy one of the hex above at a time, go into CCP software, open a file, pick a device, select a key, than open the universal browser, click HEX, paste the code there, than drag it to the key of your choice. Repeat.

The DNW remote does not transmit IR under the SAT Mode. So you cannot teach it to the smart remote IR Learning Mode.

I'm not as versed on all the tech talk. I've used my MX-500 for 5+ years, configured to learn other remotes, though can't figure out the new remote used for my Dish Hopper/Joey.

I understand it only broadcast RF, so this is where I'm stuck. I've read somewhere that I can point both remotes at the Hopper while I learn from one remote to another but was unsuccessful here too.

I did enable IR on hopper, but still no luck.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the hopper can accept IR, it probably like other Dish receivers with 16 or so IR addresses available. Make sure its set to #1. Then try the preset codes in the mx-500 under EchoStar.

Thanks edmund!

Is there a site where I can find the codes for the Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue buttons on the Hopper remote?

In the mx-500, no way. Too old of a remote. And it doesn't accept discrete commands at all, you need to use a second remote with that feature. And then possible teach the missing commands to the mx-500.
