I have an Algolith Flea HDMI that I am trying to control with my MX-800 and MRF-350. Looking around I have found that you can get a remote and IR receiver from Algolith for about $100 but I would be much happier if I could control it directly from my MX-800.

Has anyone tried using a wire from the back of the MRF-350 directly into the Flea (i.e. a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable)?

I guess worst case scenario I can buy the remote kit from Algolith, attach there IR receiver and then teach my MX-800 to code and use an IR flasher from the MRF-350 to control it. I just don't really want to buy the kit and think a direct wire would be a much better solution.

Thanks for the help

From what I recall MX-800 is not "fully" compatible with MRF-350

My Bad,

I just checked and it looks like I have a MRF-300 and not the MRF-350, so does anyone have information on controling an Algolith Flea HDMI from a MRF-300?

Thanks
