I recently added a Linksys WAP54g V2 to my system to replace my Linksys WAP11.
(Had to replace it for web camera compatibility)

The WAP11 worked with the iPronto FAIRLY reliably. The WAP54g will not connect to the iPronto at all. I've tried mixed mode, 'b' mode only, different channels, with and without encryption, latest access point firmware, latest iPronto firmware, standing on my head .... !

The iPronto shows a good wireless signal, the two unit just never connext ... ideas?

Thanks, Chris

Did some more troubleshooting and found the issue.
Bad BRAND NEW access point.
Was not sending/receiving B channel in mixed mode.

When I troubleshot before, I saw signal strength when in the mixed mode.
However, the signal I was seeing was NOT mine - probably someone in our neighborhood. I retested early this morning and saw NO B signal (guess my neighbor
was still in bed, hehe)

Replaced the access point, all is well now!
Chris
