Sometimes, when just starting out, when I try to scroll from the Harmony logo screen to the Watch Television screen, it will take two or three "scrolls" of the wheel before it will actually advance. Has anyone else seen this? Can this be normal operation?

No, Brian, I haven't had that happen, but try scrolling more slowly, and try scrolling the other way. It could be almost anything, but I'm sure that Harmony would consider it a warranty matter if it happens and shouldn't. Larry www.fineelectricco.com

I noted something similar in my review... if you scroll too quickly it can mis-sense what you've done.

Thanks Larry and Daniel for your replies. I had already read Daniel's review twice and missed the part about skipping -- nice reading comprehension on my part. Anyway, I think my problem is a little different. The remote only skips when starting from the Harmony logo screen, not at any other time. It doesn't skip all the time, but it does whether I scroll quickly or slowly. So, I sent an e-mail to the support team folks and I am awaiting their reply. By the way, Daniel, I really enjoy your web site with its great reviews and insightful member input. The information here played a big part in buying this remote and I'm getting closer to personalizing it the way I like it. My wife keeps asking if this will be the last remote I'll ever buy. We'll see!

Well, the good and responsive folks from the Harmony Support Team helped me out. Here is what they said:
"I have found the problem! It is *not* a hardware problem! The symptom you are seeing is caused by the fact that you have *3* title activities in your configuration. And so, each time you scroll down, it takes you to the same, identical, title page. And so it gives the appearance of the scroll wheel skipping. To fix this, click 'My Activities', 'Delete an activity' and then delete the two additional title activities.
Sorry for the confusion/frustration this has caused you - we will try and work out a way of preventing this in future.
The Harmony Support Team."
A few days back I was checking out the add a new activity menu and clicked on title to see what it would do and, at the time, I didn't think it did anything, but I ended up adding two new title pages. So my advice: Don't do that!
