Has anyone been able to program this remote with the Fire Cube? When I add the device, I get a message saying the remote can't control the Cube since it doesn't have IR capability, but the newer Cubes like this one do have IR capability.

The Fire Cube comes with an IR transmitter, not a receiver.

You can use a Flirc on the USB (just did it myself). For other possiblities, see this:  [Link: hifi-remote.com] (but it appears as if the therein described Inteset is no longer available).
