How well does the Harmony deal with multiple activities at the same time? I have a stereo + TV + CD Player (I have more, but let's keep it simple).

I know I can "Watch TV" to use the TV controls and turn on the TV. If my wife want's to listen to the stereo on remote speakers (stereo speaker channel 2), she can "Listen to Stereo - Remote Speakers" to turn on the stereo and select the correct speakers.

Now, since she is in the other room listening to the stereo, and I want to watch TV at the same time, what happens. If I select "Watch TV", does the Harmony turn off the other devices? If I select "Listen to Stereo", does it turn off the TV? Remember, the Stereo and TV are in the same room, part of the same system.

If it doesn't, then the question to ask is how do you turn things off. I assume that the Power button in an activity can/ will turn off all devices associated with the activity? - say a "Watch DVD" which uses DVD Player, TV, and Stereo.

Thanks for the info.

When customizing a device (TV, receiver, etc.), you can tell the remote that the device is always ON.
If you do so, the remote don't switch the device on/off when changing activity. (Doing this, will also cause the device(s) in ON-mode after using POWER-OFF button on the remote.)
