Is this possible? I have a situation where I would like to use the same extender, but have a different remote in two seperate rooms. So can I link two remotes to one extender?

From what I can tell from the search I did is that the 890 pro might be able to do this, however I would like to have the 1000 as well, can I mix the remotes?

Lastly, does anybody know the range of the IR blaster on the RF extender? I was hoping I might be able to place this on top of my projector that is hung on the ceiling about 8 feet away from all my equipment then aim it in that direction, then use one of the additional IR ports to access the projector (since its IR reciever is the other direction).

Thanks,
Chad
