Has anyone had any problems getting one of their devices to recognized? The Harmony remote won't recognize my cable box and the apllication for learning the infrared signal won't read the signal. My TV's pre-programmed remote has the codes built in and my other learning remote learns the signal no problem. I have sent an emial to customer service but still no response. Without the cable box in the listing - this remote is useless for my wife to use. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I, too, had some problems getting the Harmony to read my RCA remote. However, through various iterations of the firmware, EasyZapper was able to help me eventually. Before that time, I used the Characterize, Digitize, and Use Similar Device Characterization commands available as Wizards on the website.
Once the Harmony knows the basic language of any remote, it is pretty good at figuring out the individual commands.
Harmony is in the midst of hiring and corporate growth, and are bringing at least one more person to help with the Support Desk. ... Mike

Unfortunately it won't even digitize the signal! It says it detected the infra-red signal then the screen changes bacl to waiting for signal. If I press it longer it says it was too long. If I press it shorter it says it was too short. All the other equipment trypes have not worked and the only jerrold model is a canadian one - not to helpful here though I did try it for grins.
My free Wee-mote got my cable box to work on the 2nd try!
