Love that Harmony!
Having said that, I have the remote set-up pretty much the way I want it, to turn on the system I just scroll to select an activity and select it. Then to power down the system I select "Change Activity" and scroll down to "Power Off" and select it.
Maybe I'm missing something but what's the "Power" hard button for? It seems to have no fuction. Or did I make a mistake when I set up my configuration?

Hello.
I have not got my Harmony yet, but I have made my future setup and tried it in the simulator. In the simulator the POWER hard button do the same as the "activity" Power Off. The POWER hard button work as a toggle botton.

I use my Power hard button to turn on my whole system, and then to turn it off again. Never have to look at the window... just walk in the room, grab it and click! ... Mike

To use the power button to turn on your system you need to have a shortcut activity. You can modify the shortcut XML to allow the Power button to start any one activity you want. I use mine to turn on my "Watch Television" activity. Ed

Mike,

Sounds good to me. How do I do set the hard power button to do an acyivity. How do I add a shortcut? Do I have to mess with the XML code?

Thx - Dave
