Just set the TV, in Devices, to be on all the time.

Logitech tells me to set it turn off when not in use??? Now I'm confused. This guy on the Logitech forums has the same tv and is going to go through the settings with me, and if that doesn't work, it's going back for exchange, because it was working.

Do all your activities need to have the TV on?
If so, then in Devices set the TV to be on all the time.
Then when you have finished, for the session, or for the day, with TV, with all Activities, press the "off" button.
If not, and if you really want the TV to be off during one or more Activities, then the Logi guy is right.

acillatem,
I would post this as a separate thread and include all relevant info (ie. your tv make and model).
There are some very-experienced rc forum members who i bet can help you out on this. I've seen similar posts in the past with happy endings.

I will do that, if it doesn't get resolved with help form person at the logitech forum. Sorry, didn't mean to turn this thread another direction!

Not at all. It's just that I want you to get the help you need and I was concerned that other people with like problems wouldn't check this thread for it.
There's a current thread at AVS on this subject (perhaps initiated by you). It looks to be an issue between the discrete power on and off codes vs. the toggle on/off code.
I'll bet akirby or jlet on this forum would lead you in the right direction if you posted a thread here. They seem to have remote programming pretty well mastered.
Good luck! Once you have the bugs worked out the H1 is a spectacular gadget.

Squareeyes,
Have you considered using your fine talents to make activity and device icons for the One just in case Logitech decides to allow us to modify our command icons? (Which I think we all are hoping they will in the next software release.)
Just thought you might want to get a head start. :)

Phil,
Not only have I considered it, I've begun to comp up the harmony remote UI of the near future (i hope) as I would like to see it. I'll post images in March.

Suareeyes, again, like so may others have said....fabulous job on the icons.

If you are starting the create alternate/additional icons for the H1 UI, a phono/turntable icon would be great for those of us who still listen to analog tunes. Logitech seems to think that everyone has gone fully digital!! Hopefully, Logitech will add this feature soon.

Also, really like the AV icons you have added for the slideshow. If you are adding others, Bang & Olufsson, Oppo and DLO (Digital Lifestyle Outfitters) would be cool.

Thanks, Rocketman

Can I add a request here for some more of the UK channel icons. Specifically I cannot find Film 4, not many of the Radio station icons such as Planet Rock etc.

squareeyes, you're doing such a great job, would you consider adding some of these? I could provide a list, but I didn't want to be presumptuous and thought I'd ask first.

Ken,
I have over 86 UK icons finished and I'm just adding a few more before I launch the new site with the search engine, post the icons and create search tags for them. It's taking a little longer than I expected to take it live. Film 4 will be included along with almost all the Sky media channels, Zone channels and many more.
I currently don't have any requests for UK radio stations, so please feel free to send me your list along with any visual reference you can find and I'll begin creating those as well.
I appreciate your and everyone's patience while I finish the icon sets and the new site. It wouldn't take so long if I didn't have that damn day job. :)
Thanks,
R

Great icons! Is there any chance to post a blank icon? so that I can make my own (missing) - Channel 1 for example (Comcast On Demand)
Thanks!

Max,
Channel 1 icons have already been created but not yet posted. Look out for an email from me with icons attached.
Layered .psd template file will be available to download shortly after the new site goes up, with plans to include a user submission page to allow upload of finished icons to the database.

Just another big THANKYOU for the work on the icons. I recently decided to try the 880 after finally getting tired of programming my Pronto Pro. I am enjoying how much easier the Harmony remotes are to set up and tweak.
