well finally a episode i enjoyed..it was funny witty and intelligent , the Doctor was smart and was excited by puzzles .. really enjoyed this xmas episode..hopefully a sign of things to come.

Well i like the new doctor a bit more dark and intense first episode was a bit shabby plot wise but like his portrayal

Presently I've only seen it once (busy catching up with all the previous series), but I agree the story was a little weak (very good dialogue in places though) and Peter Capaldi's portrayal does look to be a refreshing change. Looking forward to episode 2.
