Anyone have any favorite models in the $400 and lower range? (or maybe ones to steer clear of?)

I have sony 530D. I dont have any problems at all.
Has built-in 5.1 decoder. Optical output also.Paid only $335 incl. S & H from Computability.

I purchased the Panasonic A120 a few months ago and I have been very, very satisfied with it. It hasn't had any technical glitches (pixelation, skipping, etc) so far.

I purchased it for $349, but most places sell it for $299 now. It does not have a built-in AC-3 decoder though. For that you have to step up to the A320 (+$100 or so).
