I have a mini-dvd player, made with only "OPEN" "PLAY/ON" and "STOP/OFF" buttons on the equipement. I can not manuever beyond the first selection of any dvd. It has an eye sensor, which tells me I can program a RC for the player. I have two Universals and I can not program either one using CODE SEARCH options for anything.
I have a Philmore PM-RC13 universal RC, and a RCA Systemlink-3 RC.
If anyone has the similar set ups, and can recommend the Program sequence for either RC, I would greatly appreciate it. Watching a tv show on disc, with 4 diff episodes on one disc, I have to watch all back to back, just to see ep 2-4.

You've probably given up on hearing anything, but... without the make and model of your DVD player, it will be impossible to give you an answer.
Did the unit come with a remote but you now don't have it? If it's not a major brand, where did you buy it?

OK, we have an exact match. For remotes made by UEI, use Video 2213.
RCA RCRP05B ($20 or less Best buy, Walgreens, etc.) Video 2213
OneForAll/Audiovox OARN05G 32213 ($10?)
OneForAll/Audiovox OARC04G 22213 ($10?)
Sony RM-VLZ620 12213 ($25 or less)
The RCA RCRP05B has the most programming flexibility, and in my opinion, the better user interface, especially if you have cable or DVR.
