Just another guess. I say we all put a hold on guessing until a year from now. By then according to many sources the war will be over. Of course both camps could have been wiped out or both might have come to agree to co-exist.

Check out this article that quotes Joseph Taylor, executive VP/COO of Panasonic Corporation of North America with: "I'm giving a very politically incorrect answer. I think the battle is over. I think Blu-ray has won."

I think it's interesting no because it will bring 1,00 more HD movies or the indie movies will be amazing HD products. I think it's news because Microsoft & Amazon are the sponsors, period. Here are 2 big time entities throwing their collective weight behing HD!
