I make copies of DVDs on my Macintosh—
and I can't tell them from the original. Period.

Maybe your remote is broke—
cos the volume on my remote, works no matter what.

I'm just annoyed that DVDs don't come
in 1920 by 1080 format, like cable TV
cos thats what my TV can show, and all TVs in Japan have been
that way for years. the feds passed a law in 1986 saying
that US Television would all go to high-resolution, BY 1992.
Had you asked me, in 1969—
would I EVER wish that i could see cigarette Comercials—
I would have said NO ! In the 50s and 60s— TV was
almost nothing BUT cigarette commercials, cigarette
money -MADE Television, friend. But the TV folks
sure turned nasty -towards the hand that made them
in recent years.....

Yeah, but more to the point did the temperature go up and down in the fridge!

One of my kids suggests changing the battery. But hey what would they know at their age?
I knew this was a mistake; my grip on reality's not too good at the best of times. Glitz, in "The Ultimate Foe"
