Did you buy one yet? If not, my local Hi-Fi dealer claims that they are being released locally within the next few weeks here in Melbourne, Australia.

www.audioshop.on.ca
$500 CDN + $74 CDN shipping
roughly $600 AUD together
UPS Expidited service (5 business days to Melbourne, why do I know? I live in Melbourne too mate)

But I would strongly suggest you to check out the pronto threads before buying TK-1000. Pronto only cost US$299 in some places and looks much better in functionality. Originally I was looking for Take Control websites to buy one, and I end up looking for a Pronto now.

The Madrigal IRIQ ( equivalent to HK Take Control) is available at George Secher Audio in Melbourne, but its costs about $999 or thereabouts.

Nathan,

Take Control was reviewed in the latest issue of Sound and Image magazine, I think the RRP is about $649 (or $700)...

But take a look at the Pronto forums before deciding...I was dead keen on getting the Take Control remote when I stumbled across RemoteCentral, and one look at Pronto and I lost interest in Take Control. I now have a Pronto and it's the best toy I ever got!

DME HiFi in Sydney George St actually have a TC in stock; they offered it to me for $600; said they have not sold one yet...?

I too am all for the Pronto myself...
