Just a helpful tip for anyone who ordered from Barclay_Hinson. Paypal has the ability to file complaints against those you have sent payment using Paypal. The catch is that they only give you 30 or 60 days to report the fraud. Another option is filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the credit card company for the credit card used with Paypal. I did it with an unrelated online purchase and got a refund after 3 months trying to deal with the vendor. I have Song of the South on laserdisc. It is a Japanese import so the movie is in English but Japanese subtitles are shown during musical scenes. I bought it from Tower Records in 1993 and I have since transferred it to DVD for convenience. I bought a region free dvd player with a Pal/NTSC converter built it (http://www.regionfreedvd.net). You can buy one for under $100. It irritates me that other countries get the dvd's the US doesn't get until months/years later or not at all.

OK, I have the DVD. I don't remember where I bought it from, but it is an ntsc unedited version. I will sell a copy to anyone on here for $8.00 plus media mail shipping, which should be about a buck. If you want I can try my best to find a label for it, but that might take some digging since it isn't an easy to find movie. My ebay user ID is stainlessdonkey if you need reassurance. All my dvd's are -r's so if you want +r's let me know. My email is vernonm5 at yahoo and you know the rest. I know, but spam tastes much worse in email nowadays. I prefer paypal also, so we are both protected but will accept other forms of payment.

I, too, purchase a SOng of the SOuth DVD from Barclay Hinson and have sent several messages and have never gotten a response. Can you assist? Did you ever get your DVD? Do you have an address or phone number for him? I order mine back in November and received one mesaage from him stating that his wife had been ill and then he was backlogged, but would get the DVDs out this week. No such luck....I just want my dvd that I payed for back in November 2005.
