I have encountered a problem with my Toshiba SD-210 DVD player and a copy of Shreik 2 which I have been given.
The DVD plays perfectly ok on my computer but when I try to play the film in my home DVD player it refuses to play correctly.
When I try to play it I get the screen horizontally divided with the lower half a green colour, the upper half is divided into two and I get two images of the film side by side. The sound is OK. I have never seen this effect on any DVD before, has anyone any advice please?

Only time I've ever heard of something like this is when progressive scan is turned on with a set/input that cannot support it.

Check the progressive switch in the back, make sure is set right and it's not in between contacts. Otherwise your DVD Player has a internal technical problem.
