After looking around this forum, I've discovered that I made a crappy purchase. I bought an RCA Universal Remote (Model RCU430D). The TV (Magnavox) had no problem with the installation code; however, the DVD player (Sharp DV-750) does not have a code listed and both the manual and automatic code seaches failed. Would anyone know if there is ANY code that will work?

I also have a Sharp DV-750 and I the original remote broke, I bought a Radio Shack 8-in One remote. It works great with my absolutely ancient NEC projection TV (wood cabinet and all). But I have had nothing but frustration finding a code to work with this crap DVD player. It doesn't help matters that there are no menu controls on the player itself, rendering it basically useless without the remote. So forget codes, does anyone know of any REMOTE that will even work with this player?
