Hi fellas

I've been searching for days, tried many things, non worked.

I lost the remote control of my old beloved rack audio system long ago, since I reside in Iran I can't by any replacement from outside Iran and its not avaliable in domestic market.

So I tried to read and learn how to do it.
I managed to use my android device to send signals to the system and successfully powered on/off and volume up/down, but I need REAR_LEVEL_UP and Down as well as Center volume up and down (the system default is set to mute both).

Please help if you can :)

Love from Iran
Farhad

Hi Farhad,

which signals was it that you found which "successfully powered on/off and volume up/down"?

Hi Barf
I utilized the codes provided by Craig:

[Link: files.remotecentral.com]

I imported the CCF file into irscrutinizer and exported them as irplus format, then imported them into irplus app.

Few buttons worked (in/off, up/down, Dolby prologic) but the main point I was unsuccessful.

Hmmm, that is strange. That file contains one "Amp", which are all Sony commands. Are these really the ones that are working?

Normally Kenwood Amplifiers/Receivers use NEC1 codes with device=184. Do this: Select Import/RemoteLocator in IrScrutinizer. Select Manufacturer=Kenwood and Device type=Amplifier or Receiver. Load and try them, in particular with device number=184.

Yes, in that very file there are some commands like KW+, KW-, AMP ON/OFF that work on the device.
Actually I tried every remote that could be found in remotelocator of irscrutinizer. Yet couldn't do what I was seeking.

I reached to this conclusion that it's not possible what I'm seeking to do.

Thanks anyway.
