Boxes like that are on 24 hours a day. They do not have an off state, how else are they going to be able to record, update the guide, and other updates.

If the factory remote has a power button, this usually just turns the video output on & off. Again, the box itself stays on 24 hours a day - it has to.

In a system design, there is rarely ever a need to even turn the display output on or off either. Commands are sent to just turn the video display itself on & off and any related audio equipment.

I dont think my box is suposed to be on 24/7, it have an hdd. It would not be good for the hdd.

And why should i take like 30-45 seconds for the box to start up after being turned off if it only was the display which was turned off?

I dont buy that.

Anyway, IS there a way to get code for on/off?

As it is now my box/tv/hi-fi is not synced with broadlink, they turn on/off when the other does’nt

I have a original humax remote and a logitech harmony one.

But none have ”off” button.

You should be able to use the number "0" as a discrete ON.
