It's explained in his very first post. Where are you getting lost?

Use the codes from an older model. Should work fine.

Do these discrete codes work for LG's commercial line of TVs? Thanks.

Hi all,

I have used the above info to add the codes I need to an Arduino to control my LG tv.

While all the commands I need seem to work (basically On, Off, HDMI1 and TV), if I am in the Netflix app (and probably any other app), the HDMI and TV codes do not work. I actually have to send an off and on code first to get out of Netflix.

Does anyone know if there is a code that takes you back to a "known spot" in the main menu?

Regards,

GizmoIR

Hello.

I search discrete IR codes to turn off screen directly. It exists ?
I use for the moment the key "Energy saving" many times, but it's not practical...

Thank you.

I'm a bit confused by so many comments that these codes will worth with MOST modern LG TVs. I've just bought myself a LG 60UK6200PLA. None of the codes will work at all. I'm particularly looking for discrete ON/OFF codes. I just called LG UK support and they tell me non of their TVs have discrete ON/OFF code. I suspect they are telling me "Porkies"!

Does anyone pls have any discrete codes for an LG 60UK6200PLA?

Anyone got LG codes for these buttons:

LG UHD 8500/9500 4k 3d LCD with Dolby vision and hdr10.

"APPS" - the button that brings up the WebOS list of apps across the bottom.

"SETTINGS" - the "*" button on the magic remote which brings you into the normal menu of the tv set.

thanks much.
