So, what is this stuff?
We just bought a house and it has this DIY "security system".
Anyone seen it or done anything with it?

I have a friend using it and it seems like a competent DIY.

Same. Did one for a client so they could get homeowners insurance. It set up pretty easily and as far as I know gives no trouble.
