I’m doing a 16 zone audio system using RTI audio matrix, processor, remotes, iPhones/iPads and RTI control ecosystem.
I’ve heard their dual stream music streamer plays nicely with their control architecture. Given Sonos being such a dumpster fire and Heos and Music Cast not far behind that dumpster fire, is the RTI series of streamers worth looking at?
I’m guessing that Pandora and Spotify will be the streaming choices. For sure pandora. Not sure about Spotify.
Airplay from apple devices would also be preferred. Autonomics could be an option and I think RTI has a nice driver?

you may want to post on the RTI forum. I have setup one system for another dealer, but they only used apple music I believe. So I don't think I can give you a good answer. But the forums would have many dealers who have used this product.

I agree. And I plan to spend some time on the RTI forum. Thought I’d try here first as I know there are several RTI dealers here.

Have a few out there. All good so far. I wouldn’t rely on airplay in any way from my experience.

The MS-1 / 3 works very well. Spotify integration is probably the biggest selling feature. I worked directly with RTI to provide my own re-skinned version of the UI with my pre-made templates. [Link: blackmancustoms.com]

That’s a nice interface. This system will be 16 zones. I presume the zone interface on the left scrolls up a down to incorporate multiple zones.
I have a few more questions but I’ll likely purchase that from you for this job. I’ll get on your site a surf around..thanks for the response

The template / UI can be completely customized. The section on the left can be made to work any way you like. With the iPad, KA8, KA11, and IST-10, you can use a vertical ViewPort to expand that to a scrolling list with volume control for every zone in the system.
It's super easy, and if you need help, I am just an email away.
