adagio, pyng, etc.

That is on the crestron side. I think @goldenzrule was referring to URC. That is what I was asking about

The Adagio line gets a bad rap, I think, since they DID have some ridiculous components at that time. Like those in-wall IPOD looking things. But the AES and AMS units were pretty solid units. Considering they came out in 2006 and you CAN still service them with current software, it's not too bad. I do know of one that's still operating a customer's house.

And I think Home is actually "Pyng OS3". When you consider the legacy support they've been building into Home (for ex. the BIPAD8 audio switch from 2009), I think it shows that they're at least making an effort.

I think Prodigy is a better example. That stuff was its own line, incompatible with the legacy Crestron stuff (until way later when you could do some kinda janky hacks with firmware). That whole thing kinda sucked.

Don't forget Systemf%cker that went not so well with Adagio. This was a giant headache. I have limited experience with Home and nothing recent. But it did seem like C4 light, and not in the same league as Savant.

What do you mean? What has been abandoned?

If you have to ask, you haven't paid attention to what URC has done over the years

CCGen2? MXHomePro? Not to mention TC which was direct only, then opened to distribution, then pulled from distribution leaving dealers in a bind if they were buying it from a disty. They've been all over the map with their decisions over the years.

2 lines...I agree that they were short lived. CCgen2 does still work in a TC system as long as it is a 2.0 system.
