Vantage as well as many other control companies are having issues obtaining chips.
While we understand Lutron has an 18 month backlog on many items, Vantage is 10-16 weeks.
Does anyone know about deliveries for Control4 or Savant or Crestron?

Place orders asap to get early delivery, I foresee many jobs at a standstill.

Crestron

so long as you don't have any work before Christmas you might be OK-

We luckily saw this coming a bit and ordered what we felt would be about a 6 month supply of our most often used SKUs that are starting to trickle in and have then been placing replacement orders as new jobs get approved.

We had to add Savant to our lineup. They have been able to deliver processors and remotes.

Control4 is ok on stock/deliveries. EA controllers are in stock, amps are pretty much in stock, Matrix switches have been backordered for months. Remotes are ok. Projects can get going, not necessarily finished. Panelized lighting is hit or miss. Enclosures and adaptive phase dimmer modules are in stock, forward phase and relay modules backordered.

Crestron is pretty much running at 12+ week lead time for some items and 26+ weeks for others.

I emailed our contact for supply questions and was informed that amplifiers are 26 week lead times.
Keypads we ordered in February/March of this year isn't expected to ship until Jan 2023.
Shades are shipping late September/early October
Processors, centralized lighting is 12-16 weeks

I ordered a couple shades at the beginning of March and got the estimate that they'd arrive in October. I just got the shipping notification this morning that they're on the way.

Processors are taking a long time still. Ordered an MC4 about 2 months ago and they said it'll be here next month. Not holding my breath!

No real issues with Savant, URC (CCP), RTI, or Pro Control. I know most of you guys are not fans of any of these, but we gotta sell something right?

It’s totally fabric dependent. Lutron blackout value premiere is at 60 business day lead time right now. It changes a lot but most standard fabrics other than blackout are 20-30 business day lead time

We ordered Crestron Home processors in October 2021 and still haven’t received. Are you Crestron dealers looking at other control systems to fill your orders? We receive some equipment and pay for it but have then sit on it until the balance of product comes in. Very frustrating

Extron is about 10-12 weeks out on anything that requires a processor chip, including Dante anything. It's definitely put a lot more strain on our schedules trying to finish up projects, get paid and move on!

Let alone the cost increases on everything.

Elan is doing ok right now. I just placed a PO for a system. Processor, Dante based matrix amp, touchscreen & remotes.
I also managed to order several ubiquity edge switch’s, that happened to show in stock on Sunday.

Some jobs we have had to use Savant instead which isnt as bad as Crestron with equipment timeframes. We are mainly a custom non-Crestron Home dealer though so it sucks to use Savant instead of our main offering.

How long is the programming learning curve for Savant? Was talking to my Crestron rep this morning and he was saying if you’re ordering CLX lighting right now it will be a year before you see it. Yikes
