New Samsung QLED, Snap B6 cable 1/2 meter, New Ultra.  All firmware updated. What causes this on Hulu?

Also sending ARC to a Sonos amp, but that should not be an issue, should it?

So is there a fix, or wait for Hulu to work it out, or……

I have now heard of this on two or three different clients’ Roku. Is it possible Roku pushed through an update with a bug in it?

Is power-cycling not fixing it? I got a Hulu call while out on vacation but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

Samsung Terrace, Sonos AMP using ARC, AppleTV connected w/long optical HDMIs.

I went by the one house today, and of course everything was working fine.

Older Samsung 1080p HDMI 1.4

I don't know if this helps but I have a roku connected to a Sony 75" 940d. Never ever had a issue. I hooked up a sonos arc Friday night and have to unplug the roku hdmi everytime I want to watch it now.

Try disconnecting everything from ARC and the TV and reboot both. Next connect only ARC to the TV and get CEC working. Now you can connect the other units to the TV.

Got another call, different house.  Newer Samsung 75”, B6 Binary cable, Roku thru Integra newer AVR.  Roku is the common thread.

???
I thought it was just Hulu you were having problems with? Which means Hulu is the common thread. As others have also reported the same problem on AppleTV.
*Also note, there is a Samsung TV in each of your reports. So technically Samsung is also a common thread :)

On a more helpful note: Have you tried uninstalling the Hulu app, then reinstalling? I have seen that fix specific app issues before.
