What music streamer are you Elan dealers having the best success with? We have been using Sonos and Autonomic (crap!). Thanks.

We aren't an Elan dealer but a player that uses BluSounds BluOS may be an option. BlueSound, Monitor Audio, NAD, and others all use BluOS and from the website looks like it plays nice with pretty much any control system including Elan.

I’ve tested HEOS, music cast, Sonos and Autonomic.
Autonomic is by far and and away the best for integration, at least with Elan.

Heos is a solid solution if budget is an issue. I’ve never had a problem with one, and have it in my own house. Now that autonomics isn’t part of snap who kept breaking integration every firmware update, its a solid solution too. More features than Heos. But about 3 times as expensive.

I haven’t looked at Autonomics in a long time. I’m using Elan and Sonos on my personal system and it is annoying jumping back and forth between apps.

I use Deezer, Sirius, my own NAS library, Amazon Prime music and occasionally Pandora on Sonos. I assume Autonomics supports those. And if so, how is the Autonomics integration with Elan?

I sell a ton of Sonos Amps and it's absolutely the best for multi-room. Customers eat them up like it's nothing. Very little programming. I've figured it doesn't cost much more than a multi-room amp when you consider the programming that goes into them.

It may be fine as a stand-alone option but doesn’t integrate well with most automation platforms, and specifically (as the title of this thread requests), Elan.

Does the monitor audio piece integrate well with Crestron?

I haven't used it as we have almost completely transitioned over to Home and only Sonos and Autonomics is compatible with direct Home integration. They do have a Crestron driver so would assume it would be fairly good integration with Crestron.

If using Home, you could set it up as a non-controllable source and do app switching but that seems like a pain even as an installer.

Between Sonos and Autonomics, which would you say is a better streamer to integrate? I've done a good amount of the Sonos, and it's pretty good with Home, IMO, but stayed away from Autonomics since they seemed to be kinda hit or miss for a while there.

We have really only done Sonos. Did a couple Pyng systems with Autonomics but had nothing but issues with the players and haven't done anymore. I just wish there was more control of Sonos within the Home app as opposed to app switching to the Sonos app but this hasn't seemed to be an issue with any of our customers.

We only use Autonomic with Crestron. It is the best option. As for ELAN, the platform was built for Squeezebox so the Fusion products integrate the best. However you are limited in the variety of streaming services, so I would recommend Autonomic as well.

Which model are you using? I want to get away from Sonos, but the Autonomic reviews are scaring the crap out of me!
