Have a takeover job that we are about to start. I have someone who will come out and do the Crestron programming to get rid of the crestron home and just use standard programming as its too limited for client.

In the meantime they have installed new Lutron shades and want to add them to the existing home setup while the rest of the system comes together which will be several months from now.

They shades are all working off of picos right now and I am going to install a Ra2 repeater for control. I have the login for the Home setup to add devices etc...

Can I add the shades easily myself? I only had 2 days notice about the client wanting the shades installed and cant get the programmer out here.

TIA

providing you can add the RA2 device to home this shouldn't be a problem to add the shades. Crestron and Lutron work very well together.

Just curious what the limitations are that the owners are experiencing? Have several Crestron Home jobs out there and yes there are some limitations but A LOT have been resolved recently and a lot more will be resolved by Christmas (as per the webinar today).
You can't fix stupid

He doesn’t like the simplified alarm interface, lack of GUI customization etc…

I personally don’t think it’s so bad, but he signs the checks.

Not sure if you know this or not but...

Programming isn't enough. You will need to add a non-crestron-home processor.

Processor is being replaced.
