I like how the article says that HD is a major supplier to us. "The company is partnering with The Home Depot, one of the biggest suppliers of resources for custom integrators, security installers and other smart home contractors."

Talk about fake news - it’s an everyday occurrence in 2021!
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Oh, it's true!

They supply ALL of the guys working after their normal Spectrum, ADT, and other gig economy jobs

That guy with the ads on telephone poles? He shops at HD.... :-)

I can understand why some installers would want to use HD CAT-5 cable because the boxes of wire are much lighter and easier to carry.

The only thing that surprises me about all this is that cepro is still around.

Minus the ridiculous Home Depot aspect of this article it’s actually a smart play. $20 a month is nice piece of mind for homeowners/generals for basic security of a job site. The stupid orange color is a no go but this isn’t a bad play. Especially if you can get it from disty and make a few bucks. Rings app is very intuitive with multiple properties plus adding shared users gives everyone the ability to check in and monitor. I don’t hate it 🤷🏼‍♂️ but CEPro please get off HD’s nuts with the “biggest supplier for custom integrators” BS 🤦🏼‍♂️
Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".

Orange was smart.

It’s a job site not a house and lessens the appeal to steal the parts.
They should also protect the kits by a report it stolen and we’ll block it for life, and a replacement discount.

The ironic part, is the kits will be a high target item for shoplifters who steal from Home Depot, perfect item to sell on a site, hey I got a deal on a new in box….
Technology is cheap, Time is expensive.

They already do that.
