Have you used this with Control4?

mrsteam.com/products/homewizard/

I guess it's just a very expensive module ($475) that let's you turn on/off a Mr Steam steamer and also see its current on/off status.  Not even a driver available.

Apparently when the customer initiates the steam it will automatically turn off after 10 minutes if no one uses the steam controller after that.

Just looking for any gotchas ahead of time.

Did one with a Crestron system. Had 4 steam showers, hooked up one to test. Of the 4 Mr Steam units, 1 worked okay, the other 3 were crap.

It turned on the system by itself and ran for 12+ hours while the clients were away. Great stuff!!

Mr. Steam, is honestly a toy. I said nope, not happening.

Also there is no integration with it, and C4. Take that as a good thing.

Just because someone can control something, doesn't mean they should.

Just say no, it's ok to tell people that you shouldn't control it.
