I have a client that wants a new projector. He currently has a 6 year old Vivitek 1080P projector with a Silverstar screen. He has some ambient light issues. Has anyone switched over to a short throw(LG or Samsung)? If so, how did it compare? I am afraid to throw a Sony 295 4K unit in because of the Lumen output. Let me know what you guys think.

I'd see if I could sample one before I made the leap. I'd be concerned about hot spotting with the combination of that screen and a short throw projector.

JVC LX-NZ3W. Good price point. Good Margin. 3K Lumen, 4K UHD, Laser 20K hours lifespan.
These have been out of stock for what seems like forever, but disty just got them in and I've done one install already, and two next week.
Should look great, especially on that Silverstar screen, although I prefer the SI Slate screens.
