Looked at job today and it has some existing Sonos already (Connects). One of them is for the Family room ceiling speakers. Old installer has an Onkyo with two sats next to the TV in the Family Room. Thinking of using the Connect for surrounds (if it will work). I've only used Amps in the past for surrounds so not sure this is even an option. Even if I had to use an older Play Bar versus an Arc. Gonna start Googling now.....

I believe you can use the Connect:Amp for rears but it has to be a wired network connection. The Connect's didn't have 5g radios so they had to be wired to ethernet to make it work.
