I notice the thread I posted recently is still listed at the top after two days. I used to see a lot of informative, useful, funny responses. Where is the most active forum these days? Or has everybody quit? I just joined a Sonos Facebook group and there seems to be a lot of action there.

People got tired of all of the liberal rants on here and moved on. :>/

What ever happened to Universal Electronics remotes- the ones that they could program by holding it next to a landline phone handset?

I really have tried cutting my internet time and so don't check things as frequently. I forgot my password to IP and haven't been on there in probably a year and haven't been motivated to fix it.

I'm on several Discord groups and they're a lot better when someone is looking for help or advice. The app-based services are better for posting pics on the go (faster) so there's that too.

This is exactly why I do not come here often. Another right wing snowflake throwing the first swing.Then the lot of you cry like 12 year old girls when someone takes a swing back. Actually my statemnet may not be fair to 12 year old girls.

I still come here at least once a day, it's part of my morning "see what's happening in the business" run around the internet.

I first started visiting this site (and IP forum) often in 2010. Back then, it feels to me like there were a lot more interesting threads where people with really valuable insights, a lot of experience, and a commitment to best-in-class work discussed and gave in-depth posts about topics. I learned a lot about wire management, rack building, rough-in technique, business management, sales, and more from those threads. Guys that were working in and/or running very successful businesses posted often. It seems like when someone starts a thread like that now, it either dies after a few posts or turns into either a political turd-flinging match or a semantics debate due to the same 4-5 people.
