Thanks for the info. I just heard that it has a gigantic power supply. Is this correct? My buddy saw a prototype and I don't know if the ones on the market have this. He said it was similar to a OneConnect box. Is this true and something that we need to account for?

Thanks again

The 75” had a standard IEC 3 conductor power cord, and it was long (9’ maybe?)
The Samsung Sound bar, now that had a power supply bigger than A One Connect

So the only TV that really could benefit from a one connect box in their lineup doesn't have one?

I think the built-in HDBaseT port makes more sense than One Connect.  It's going to be a lot easier to get a CAT cable to an outdoor TV than a 1-1/4" conduit required to pass the One Connect cable.

The 49ft Max One Connect cable length would also be an issue for most of the outdoor TVs I work with.

Haven't installed one but did see on the specs that it does have an HDBT inuput.

That's slick

Just installed a 55” in an outdoor cabinet lift.
Regular long power plug.

Yes they look more normal but thick like outdoor sets and heavy in that regard. The huge benefit of Samsung is installed SmartTV apps. Same interface as all higher end samsung sets. Did not use the HBBase-T just installed cable box right in the outdoor cabinet. But.... not sure if anything else passes over HBBase-T like IR. The weatherproof box is large but also can be a PITA depending on the mount and access. Although this can be an issue in many sets.

I did a 75 a few weeks ago. the system had a relatively old HDBaseT kit running the old Sunbrite. We were happy to find the HDBAST transmitter worked just great with the Terrace's port.

We found the trapdoor in the back woefully small for the size of the TV. Could of easily been a bit more spacious.

There also is no IR input on the back of the TV. no idea what they were thinking there.

The picture was great though and the client loves it.

We tried using the built-in apps for convenience and they kept crapping out (streaming portion kept locking up). We did all of the normal stuff and it didn't fix it (power-cycle, update, factory reset). Aside from this, the picture is fantastic and this may put the Sunbrites of the world out of business.
